There is the historic Crystal Theater, Thunder River Theater Company, Carbondale Clay Center, craft distilleries, breweries and more. The ranch borders 2 miles along CR 133 on the 205 mile long West Elk Loop Scenic Byway with spectacular Rocky Mountain vistas, a favorite of autumn leaf peepers.

The surrounding mountain terrain is a hunting and fishing paradise for legendary big game and gold medal trout fishing.
