The list of improvements is impressive with renovated and new practical ranch buildings designed and built to honor the historic western vernacular while being guided by our green building principles. We have added miles of new border and cross fencing for proper management of livestock. We have also added functional improvements to historic ditch irrigation, installed new sprinkler irrigation systems as well as a solar powered, year-round, livestock water drinker system reaching main pastures and corrals. Interior roads have been upgraded and improved with new heavy-duty ranch entry cattle guards. Lastly, the addition of a grid-tied electrical infrastructure of photovoltaic and solar hot water arrays make this a Run-on-the-Sun renewable energy powered ranch producing at least 75% of our energy needs.
